Inspiration: Bruegelburg
It's 28mm actually, but those are one of the most interesting minis I've seen in a while. Lead Adventure just gave a great answer to the question about where to look for inspiration for 'dark early modern' (read: Warhammer) miniatures: paintings of 15th/16th century flemish masters! Hahahaha... nice. A postcard of this Van Eyck is posted on my fridge right now, it's such a good painting with so much character. Just like the new minis :D
